That’s right the country is not more in debt and not losing jobs.. It’s all a big lie.

Chelsea Grunwald@chelseagrunwald I'm from Janesville, WI. My entire family lives there. I know when the GM plant closed. Obama was definitely in office
This was a tweet among many disputing this. Check twitchy too.

Take a look at the diversion here:
RYAN: "The stimulus was a case of political patronage, corporate welfare and cronyism at their worst. You, the working men and women of this country, were cut out of the deal."
THE FACTS: Ryan himself asked for stimulus funds shortly after Congress approved the $800 billion plan, known as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
They're saying that Ryan shouldn't play the game the way the rules ended up, because he was against the rules that were made.
That's like saying that the Cardinals shouldn't use a designated hitter when playing in Texas Stadium, because the Cardinals don't like the DH rule.
If they rule that the trough is open, then you are NOT a hypocrite if you go feeding, even if you voted to close the trough.

Ryan himself voted for an auto bailout under President George W. Bush that was designed to help GM, but he was a vocal critic of the one pushed through by Obama that has been widely credited with revitalizing both GM and Chrysler I dunno. Spending what? $60 billion, maybe upwards of $100 billion of the taxpayers' money to create a company with market cap of $33 billion does not particularly strike me as sound financial policy. Revitalized? Sort of like welfare recipients are 'revitalized' on the third of every month.

I often wonder how the AP and the rest of the MSM plan to regain their credibility once Obunghole is out.

I remember some years ago when a Virginia governor wanted to opt out of going after some federal money (education related, I think) that he had been against. The hue-and-cry rose from the predictable banshees about how unthinkable it was that he wouldn't go after the state's "share." Of course, he relented and went after the money. Undoubtedly it was spent with little noticeable effect... But, but, but, it was "for the children."
Bah...

I’ve been reading the headline on these posts, and then checking WHO posted them. When I read (i.e.) it is AP or the NYSlimes, or CBS, I know INSTANTLY what they will be propogandizing.
Frankly, I am quite sad to be consistently correct in my advance thinking. I’m beginning to think that these “columns” are being written 45 minutes BEFORE the speeches are delivered.

Does anyone believe these ‘fact check’ things anymore? On either side, but particularly with the DNC Press issuing releases for the Obama campaign?

“Fact-checking” is a mechanism created by the liberal media to reinforce its own beliefs (as those beliefs are examined under the light of day). The “fact-checkers” are of the same ilk as the liberal media but, typically, call themselves “independent”. It’s simply more of the same smoke screen to disguise the true intent: fairness through Socialism...
