My province is Saskatchewan and I have lived most of my life under the jackboot of the Godless socialists and in a poor province . A little over 4 years ago we finally got a conservative busines friendly government and we have had nothing but economic growth since. We have effectively full employment through this economic downturn ,population growth and
Increased opportunity.
HillaryRomney is in there for one reason, to bailout the Exempt Ones, who refuse to sleep in the bed they made themselves, while attempting to force everyone else but themselves in.
It’s no mistake that there is very little, if none at all, push that everyone is going to get an Exemption. Instead an insidious deception “replacement” , and not exemptions for all WE THE PEOPLE.
I'm going to throw out Obama and put in the Father of Obamacare and the Father of gay marriage? Why would I do that?
I have no intention of voting for either of those two. "For the good of the country."
The Republicans in the House and Senate are just going to have to stand up to Obama. They won't stand up to Romney.
>The GOP decided
1) dems in open primaries
2) the eneMedia
3) those who did not vote in primaries
... they decided.
Where was all this hellfire and brimstone at the primaries?

In the circular firing squad.
This is America, if we supported you agenda of dropping social conservatism, then we become liberals, the left with better tax policy, no thanks.
I realize there are differences between a parliamentary and republican system. My family heritage has deep American roots going back before the civil war. I have a number of first cousins in the US.
25% of our members of parliament come from Quebec. Imagine if 25%
of your electoral college was elected by Frenchmen . Even with that disadvantage Prime Minister Harper won a majority and is slowly strangling the Liberal institutions which support the Left.
Look, my vote will be useless here in NH. NH is slated to vote for Obummer again and my vote won't count anyway, so I might as well vote for someone who aligns closest to my political views.
If Romney wins, do you really think that Romney will turn into a conservative or be pressured to run the country that way?
He didn't when he was Gov of Mass and he won't when President. Conservatives just got their asses thrown out of the convention with the rules change and will have no say in how gov’t will be run.
Bonehead will again be the Speaker and whats-his-face might be the Senate Majority leader. I don't think many here at FR believe with those two at the helm along with Romney will govern conservatively, but will compromise with the liberals in order to get a few kind words written about them in the NY Times or WP.
We are in a no-win situation.
If Romney loses, if obama wins, it's because Romney and the GOPe couldn't convince enough voters he's better than obama and/or possibly ensure a fair election, but don't let that stop you from blaming voters for just not getting it.
The GOPe is just like obama, blaming everyone and everything but themselves, for their candidate, their record, and their party.
Alinsky here, Alinsky there, Alinsky tactics everywhere...well, FO! That blame and shame the voter shite doesn't work here. Losers.
Sell! Sell! SELL your candidate and your ideas or (you'll) go home.
I well remember the tastes great/less filling duel that went on between Rick Perry and Newt Gingrich partisans, for instance. When either one would have been more palatable to all than Mitt is. Mitt could have had a great place in a conservative administration (with a financially related appointment, say secretary of treasury) but now Mitt is heir apparent to the whole enchilada, social AND economic. Mainly, because the herd of cats never united on any of the more acceptable choices. Blame the GOPe and media all you want — they did not glue 90% of the electorate to their sofas during the primaries.
Ryan is almost through speaking. His entire solution to the economy is to reduce government spending, tax fairness, and reduce regulation.
That’s not what is wrong with the economy. They don’t have any more clue than Obama. Idiots. They are this election’s hope and change candidate. Change leadership and it’s got to get better. But a comprehensive plan they don’t have, because they haven’t identified what’s wrong. They think government overspending is the only economic problem.
Anything that eases the onerous hand of government upon a free enterprise system makes it easier for said system to do what it always has — accommodate the problem and find a way to recovery.
Mitt is less-lose. The golden chance — the primaries — is over. Well and truly fumbled.
You’ve grown a lot, now the conservative base are “puritanical know nothings here in FR” to you.
I am so glad not to be a member of Mitt Romney’s party, it seems like you guys are having issues.
It's a good start. I suppose unlimited Keynesian borrowing and spending and confiscatory taxing of business, i.e., Obama's plan, is more desirable?
Whoever wrote this sounds like a concern troll. They claim to be a Christian, but are using phrases like “The Christian right” and misrepresenting what the opposition of Romney is all about.
