There are a surprising number of knuckleheads on this Board who have no intention of supporting Romney over Obama and are actively working to help this fiend Obama.
Incredible!!!!
I would add to your description of how the film shows Obama trying to fulfill his father’s dreams that D’Souza hints at a psychological component: The absent father becomes idealized. He mentions the photos of missing fathers in World War II.
There is a deep longing there that can never be filled. The desire for a parent’s love is a mighty and irrational and lifelong force and motivates beneath the surface many an endeavor. Obama has severe abandonment issues that fuel his obsession.
Me too but the exciting part was no walk-outs!
Congress and the media have not stopped him...
............................................................
Come on, say it like it is. Congress and the Media are on his side. Congress and the Media are as much to blame as Obama.Perhaps more so. It was Congress that passed Obamacare ,it is Congress that fails to act against illegal Executive Orders, It is the Media who covers for him and refuss to vet the man.Without Conress and the Media Obama is just another Commie.
The same way you get people to buy soap—hype.
Obama is nothing more than a repackaged communist with the sales pitch as “new and improved” and the suckers buy it by the boxcar.
You are right, “new and improved” sells soap and communism.
Political correctness is gonna kill this country.. too many won’t criticize a black man for fear of retaliation. Too many in congress count their own careers ahead of what is good for the country. The media is for anyone and anything that goes against conservatism... they fiercely back up the left...they lack common sense and won’t know the house is on fire till it’s burned down.
You are almost correct, actually the Media is striking the match, and pouring gasoline on the fire.
Saw it yesterday in Colorado. It was the dominating show in the 12 plex as the parking lot emptied upon completion.
My take was this should not have to be a movie. Media should have been presenting this since 2008. Instead, they forget all the scary things about zero and publish what makes him look good.
He’s anti colonialist, like his father. Colonialism is a form of capitalism, so he has to be anti capitalist. This was never debated. End of story.
Plus the movie interviews the poverty stricken brother in Kenya who probably would make a better president than zero. Brother says that the whites left Kenya too soon, otherwise would have been as sucessful as South Africa. Brother also noted that when colonialists are kicked out, often the county becomes worse off. No such balanced opinion for zero.
