I gather you are saying all books, publication, articles, letters to the editor by retired military personnel are required to be cleared first by the DoD. Please provide the regulation (link) that says so.

No what I'm saying is this gentleman is a or was a Tier one operator....they sign their lives away taking that job....he was no exception. Dont get me wrong here I will be one of the first in line to get his book...but it struck a few of us as strange that he would write this WITHOUT getting it reviewed first...I hear now the book is being reviewed.
