You’ve got to be kidding me. I had to check to see if the author of this article was John Semmens before I posted any reply.
A National Guardsman, who even the Federal government doesn’t try to argue is not a militiaman, cannot go about in public, with a pellet gun? This is what the “right to bear arms” has come to in America?
So now an honorable veteran can’t even train without getting arrested. Apparently a pellet gun is an instrument of terrorism. Fifty thousand dollars bond?? This nation has gone insane.
This nation has gone insane.
Yes.
Just making an example thats all.
I wish this was unbelievable.
My son just enlisted in the USMC. He has to go train with the other poolees once a week ‘til he leaves for basic, but that’s not enough to keep him in shape. He often suits up in camo trousers and desert boots and takes a five-mile run through the woods and fields near out house. This could have been him. He owns a couple of pellet guns. When I read this story to him he was shaking with fury. First the guy in Virginia who was arrested for suggesting on FB that the 9-11 was a missile attack (stupid, but not illegal to think that); then this. He said (loudly and colorfully), “I am going to spend the rest of my life working and sacrificing to pay for what that [expletive deleted] has done to our country, and so is everyone else in the service, and this is how they treat us? When we’re just trying to stay in shape, or to hunt for food?”
Congrats to your son on joining the Corps. Its a testimonial to you.I’m affraid for our kids.
Martinsburg is a liberal hell hole and the once beautiful, historical downtown is now a ghetto with a few tourist traps.
I have to say I was surprised in a way when we took “hikes” as a group in full battle with weapon while I was deployed in a foreign country. I was really taken aback one day riding the Harley through Roanoke to see a line of soldiers doing so in the US. No one else seemed to even notice. Curious. One soldier is frightening but 100 aren’t.
The Fort Hood killer is not a terrorist but this guy is?
Of course hes a terrorist! Hes in the US Army! Hes a war veteran! Just ask Homeland Security.
I wonder if the additional military equipment seized was his issued field gear.
His mistake was being armed in the liberal part of WV. Do that in Raleigh or Fayette County, and he’d be called over to ask whether he liked EOTECH or Aimshot sights better.
Between this, the treatment of the Seals, the Marine thrown in a psych eval ward for Facebook postings...
They are nibbling us to death and we are doing NOTHING to put a serious stop to it.
OK. Sounds good. Are you going to get suited up and lead us to go burn the jail down? You really will be a “Dead Corpse” if you try.
John Kerry considers him a member of a (war) criminal organization.
With apologies to liberal hellholes ... I don't go there if I don't have to. It's not clear whether the bedwetting pansies responsible for his arrest were within the Martinsburg Police, or the government schools.
You appear to lack the one thing necessary to even contemplate action... Courage.
This is why we are in the sorry state we are in...
When all is outlawed, we all will be outlaws.
Wearing a bulletproof vest is a terrorist act now???
fortunately, the commie bastards will have to have a main push eventually to implement their *final solution*...
hopefully we are all able to realize the push and respond accordingly...
today, in this atmosphere, the PR battle is being protected by allowing this to stand...sooner or later, the PR wont mean sh!t and the pushback will be more than these 'authorities' ever imagined...
