This should have never been an issue in the general election.
Food for thought.
Abortion laws and practices are not going to change in the next 10 years, no mater who is elected.
Don’t neglect Butch Napy’s proclivities.
Yet another prime example of the Liberal Media viciously attacking a legitimate Pro Life Conservative candidate for U.S. Senate.
That is what makes this so pointless.
Had Akin held his cards tighter, he may have won the Senate, and then perhaps been useful in SCOTUS picks.
Then and only then could we hope for any change.
“This should have never been an issue in the general election.”
You are wrong and the cowardly GOPe is wrong. This should ALWAYS be an issue in any election....except for dogcatcher.
It is TIME for the GOP to either support moral/social issues important to the SOCON base, or rightfully alienate moral/social conservatives forever. This “back of the bus” nonsense is REALLY getting old.
You have to WIN to effect change.
True dat.
Many GOPe Senators are not better. It's a conundrum.
Well, the slaughter of 4500 human babies A DAY is even more important that the economy. For those murdered babies it is eternal. All because Mama can’t keep her legs together. and then there are the republicrats actually joining the cry of the banshees (romney) that they want to kill a baby because mommy thinks now she was “raped” when the medical evidence is that the woman can’t ovulate for weeks after trauma. Why don’t we adopt these children? They didn’t do anything to deserve their murder!! Where is adoption today? Have they stomped it out to reduce population? Akin was RIGHT!! Akin will be in the Senate.; MOVE ON!!
It’s funny how, all of a sudden, abortion has been become very popular with the people living in this country. That is, if you believe the crap Barry’s state run “media” is pimping.
“That is what makes this so pointless. Had Akin held his cards tighter, he may have won the Senate, and then perhaps been useful in SCOTUS picks. Then and only then could we hope for any change.”
It is that kind of “going straight to surrender” approach that keeps the unborn being murdered.
BTW - Akin hasn’t lost yet. He is already getting a lot of grass root donations and support. When he wins, he won’t be behoden to the GOPe like others....and he can plus for some real conservatism.
Send Cornyn and McConnell to the back.
Akin maybe kicked out of the GOP tomorrow.
AMEN!
Another issue to keep this lousy Obama economy out of the spotlight. That is why every Republican candidate should have been instructed to STAY ON THAT TOPIC and not get sucked into a mess like this. But Akin is obviously a very slow learner and fancies that he is some Moses with special instructions from God to help Obama get re-elected. What a putz.
