Misstatement, insanely ignorant and bullheaded it’s is of no consequence. for the Democrats all that counts is a reliable vote for the party. For example, Patty Murray, is a name that pretty much explains it. Unless you want to talk about other little things like criminal behavior, then the list expands.
Akin will always be a sow’s ear. What disturbs me is how easily the pachyderms stampede.
It made international news. The president of the United States commented on it. The GOP in DC had every right to comment particularly since Akn was counting on them to fund his election. The only one who should shut up is Akin but his ego won't allow it.
Anyone deserves a chance to try and rehabilitate his campaign after an innocent mistake. I would say any candidate who can’t get ahead in the polls should consider dropping out before an election for the good of the party. That goes for Romney as well. Let’s see if Akin’s poll numbers hold up or if he bounces back from any dips in the next few weeks. Let’s also rally around and support all our Republican candidates like FR has recently done for Romney. Go team, right?
Not only is Todd Akin not pulling out, he apparently doesn’t even have the common courtesy to offer the party a reacharound.
