With all due respect, Mr. Robinson; it’s waaaaay too late in the game to insist on an all or nothing election slate.
If we lose this one and BHO gets 4 more years, the Country becomes a socialist dictatorship and you and FR, et al, will be among the first ones they come for with the millions of rounds of .357 magnum ammo they’ve recently ordered.
There may be some grounds in there someplace for the political purists to brag about their great superiority, while the Country slides all the way into political ruin, but stupid me; I cannot see it. The very idea that Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are no better for the future of the Country than Obama and Biden is foolishness worthy of the Funny Farm.
Mr. Robinson; if you knew how much the Obamas, Axlerods, Emmanuels, Jarretts, Pelosis, Reids, et al, despise you and us; and if you realized what they have PLANNED for us if they get 4 more years to finish accrueing the power to have carte blanche to DO as they please, you would make better use of THIS LAST opportunity we’ll have to turn our Nation around and perhaps knock Liberalism in the head for a long time.
I’m old enough to have been a GOLDWATER supporter. I named my Quarter Horse foal “Peggy G” after Mrs. Goldwater. If there were a more conservative choice available to us, who could win, I’d be the first to go for it. But that is not an option at this time. To try to promote a 3rd candidate into the race only splits the vote, a la Ross Perot, and guarantees a ‘rat win. It’s stick up for the candidate we’ve got, or THROW THE GAME. I, for one, am NOT going to be guilty of THAT.
In spite of it all, I thank you for FR and all the good influence it has been. But in this instance, Sir, I think you’re failing to realize how late in the game it is, and the dire consequences if the current administration gets another term.

Now where in the world did you ever get the idea that I support Obama? I cannot support any abortionist, nor homosexualist, nor gun-grabber, nor big government statist. That automatically rules out guys like Rudy, Romney and Obama. This is not new and shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. I’ve been shouting it from the rooftops for at least the last seven or eight years when RudyMcRomney first began making noises about running for the presidency. I relented on the statist McCain because he was at least pro-life and pro-family and had served his country in uniform. Will never relent on Romney. But I’m in California and my vote doesn’t count anyway. Sorry.

Jim, I thank you for this website. I guess we just disagree on this issue. To me, trashing Romney is equivalent to supporting 0bama. His choice of Ryan as his running mate was an acknowledgement of those of us on the right. I expect that his administration will reflect that change. If not, he’ll have h@ll to pay, and I’ll be first in line to give it to him.
As a Christian, I believe in redemption. I believe hearts and minds can be changed for the better. My hopes and prayers are for a renewed and brighter America.

So do all true believers. However, many of us can tell the difference between a feigned “repentance” and the real thing. Romney’s repentance is “feinged” and not genuine.

Good sister, you aren’t going anywhere and you know it as well as I do. You may stop donating, but you will still lurk. You are not going to find truer conservatism than you will with many of the posters found her on FR. Especially those that back Jim’s play. So, you really have no place else to go. It is ironic that FR, which you are now mad at, is the only place to find real conservatives. IF you are a REAL conservative, you will be back. I notice that JR has not shut down your account. He realizes as well that you will return.
This IS the home of the rebellion against psuedo-conservatives in the GOP. Especially those holding control of the GOP...the “establishment.”
