I voted for Fitz in Winnebago county. Looking like Hovde might do well here.

Too burnt out from election to post more than this.
Voted Fitzgerald.
We’ll see what happens

It’s way too early. Republicans have candidates who include a successful ex-Governor who’s yesterday’s news, a rich carpetbagger, and a flaky perennial candidate. A fourth candidate (Jeff Fitzgerald), would be a great Senator but has no name I.D. or resources. It’s the race of the night and I fear it won’t be decided until after I have to quit the borrowed computer.

Hovde is the rich carpetbagger, a Washington, D.C. hedge fund manager who moved to Wisconsin recently to run after 24 years out of the state.

Lot of anti Tommy votes tonight. I didn’t live in the state when he was the Guv. Down in Texas we considered him a liberal.

Carpetbagger is more than a little harsh. This isn’t like Hillary deciding she liked Illinois - no, make that New York. Hovde grew up in Wisconsin and went to school in Wisconsin and yes, made his fortune in D.C. but that doesn’t make D.C. ‘home’.
