And your argument about passing by Joseph Smith first is completely illogical and frankly irreleventWell, that is what they believe.
And Romney, being a high value Mormon Bishop, has to adheare to the beliefs of the Prophets and writings.
Romney's spiritual beliefs have nothing to do with why I don't support him for President, it is because of his liberal policies.

If you think that God would have me throw my vote to a NOBODY THIRD PARTY CANDIDATE, who, with a 100% certainty WILL NOT WIN, and by so doing, WILL enable a Lenin to maintain control of this country, when a vote for Romney could have prevent that evil, then my choice would be a sin because I KNOW THAT A LENIN IS EVIL AND WILL KILL PEOPLE. I hate to break it to you, but that way of thinking is EXACTLY what brought Hitler to power in Germany. Most feared the Nazis, but they feared the communists more.
Walking in fear instead of principle and faith is bound to be fatal to any people.

Godlike, yes, like me, and hopefully you. It should be the goal of all followers of Christ to emulate him.

“Funny, but I never got the impression from Jeff, either on this thread or any others, that he ever MINDLESSLY GOES ABOUT his days doing whatever he thinks might be the right thing.”
He indicated he acts first and consults scripture later, which was what I asked him to clarify. His post seemed to indicate that he relies on the arm of the flesh before relying on God. As for mindlessly, I was not referring to Jeff, I was referring to myself.

Liberal. With a hint of lemon (for added bitterness). But hey, being a ‘lost sheep’ and Stormfronter, what do I know?
Bigot indeed.

So the answer is yes, the man running for president expects to become a God himself.

"... That is like saying you are anti-Judaism but pro-Jew." Exactly. And Jews have been used to exactly that kind of sentiment from gentiles for a very long time: The lizard face hiding behind the friendly smile mask.

All I want is for the American people to start to do the right thing in their politics, before it’s too late and there is no America.

Neither are most Republicans ;) if one uses their party platform as a measure. Of course it’s too much to expect the fear factory to figure out that’s what led to our current situation.
None so blind...
