Juan McRomney. Intent on not winning.
romney was right, he’s not a monster. romney could have said obama is an communist America hating closet muslim
“The next moment a hideous, grinding speech, as of some monstrous machine running without oil, burst from the big telescreen at the end of the room. It was a noise that set ones teeth on edge and bristled the hair at the back of ones neck. The Hate had started.”
Man I hate Romney! Instead of saying, “I’m not sure I’d call him that (a “monster”?) why couldn’t he say “I’d call him a lot worse!”
Why can’t Mitt be spiteful, petty, vindictive and smallminded, like someone I hate even more than him: Obama, so I can feel better about myself.
Romney’s a Mormon, he was the governor of a lieberal state California—I mean, Massachusetts—he’s got too many damn kids, makes too much money and can’t be trusted.
He can’t be trusted any more than Obama!
If I saw Obama on top of my sister, and Romney was pulling him off, why—I think I’d beat the tar out of both of them!
We **hates** him my Precious—HATE!—my mouse and me hate that dirty, fat, stupid Romney. He’s a bad man, very bad, grrrrrrr! He’s just not good enough, he’s the representative of a political party, just another politician, but he’s a Republican in name only.
He’s as bad as Obama ..... Probably worse! While we can’t be sure, to be safe let’s let the hate wash over us. Carry on .....
I am NOT a Romney guy, but that headline is ridiculous. What Romney said was hardly defending Obama.
Don’t quit your day job.
Some of those who spend their time on FR bashing Romney and making endless comparisons to McCain may think they are principled beyond compare but all they're doing is tearing down the one and only possibility we have of getting Obama out of office. Ronald Reagan was occasionally blunt but didn't try to eviscerate the hapless Jimmy Carter and Romney, although far, far from being like Reagan, doesn't have to go ballistic in attacking Obama and start calling him names like some internet 'tough guy' writing anonymously and thus, with no accountability.
Romney just needs to keep the focus on the economy, where Obama is totally vulnerable, and not allow the Obama team to define him. Name-calling won't accomplish that.
Watchout,
I don’t even read the stuff anymore from these (to us a Greek word) idiotes. Everyone they have supported now supports Romney, so they are showing their hand. They are wanting attention. I just don’t read anything they write.
I’ve heard enough to know that I don’t want Obama in the WH for another term. They are fighting for him to be in so they can belly ache for the next four years. Others are fighting for the soul of the nation.
Very well said.
Also very well said.
That's how horribly, ruinously astray they've gone, as a party: they've finally morphed, en masse, into dull, blank-eyed little simulacra of George McGovern.
The shrill, self-righteous scolds of Mittens' online Sister-Wife Squadron are absolutely correct in noting, while clutching their skirts and clucking disapprovingly, that "The Free Republic of today is nothing like it used to be."
Just not in the way they think they are.
PLEASE......PLEASE.....PLEASE put that info on EVERY DAMNED THREAD!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!
I so totally agree. Romney simply says, “I wouldn’t use that term” and mega Freepers post that he is wussing out. Talk about Chicken Littles.
The Romney camp had no problems blasting Gingrich and Santorum... yet he wants to be fair to Obama? This gets more depressing by the day.
I wouldn’t call that a “defense” but a “differentiation”.
Doh!
Great post!
Apparently so. Seems to be evidence of "I didn't read the article." Either that or a lot of not thinking goin on.
