Black liberals and moderates won't vote for Romney because he's just another liberal and they already have one (Obama).
Black conservatives won't vote for Romney for the same reason - because he's just another liberal.

I did not watch his speech, but I did not comment on his speech, only on his wasting his time going before that mass of people who really did not listen to his speech either.
They don’t care what Romney has to say. They don’t care what Obama has already done to hasten our destruction, they have but one agenda. Elect Obama again.
There may be a few brain cells in the crowd, I hope Romney appealed to them, but the majority there are not interested.
When Romney finished, he got a standing ovation from about half the crowd. They at least listened to him and I think a lot of them appreciated that he spoke to them. He had nothing to lose. I can’t stand Romney personally but I think he did the right thing.

All the freed slaves received 40 acres of land and a mule. That is a hell of a lot more than the government gave me in a financial way.
What this country DID give me (which I appreciated and they obviously didn't) was an opportunity to succeed and that is worth more than those slaves received so I guess they would be miffed!

There was another thread yesterday that detailed how after 14 trillion dollars spent on the “War on Poverty” fiasco created by LBJ has not improved the poverty level at all but has actually deteriorated family values. The out-of-wedlock birth rate among blacks spiked from 24.5% in the mid-Sixties, to 50.3% in 1976, to 73% today.
