Doctors need to seriously think of using the term “Bidened” when declaring a patient brain dead. “Brain dead” is a bit confusing especially when a patient is still alive. “Bidened” on the other hand leaves no doubt.
Doctors: “I’m sorry Mrs. Doe, but your son John is Bidened from the accident.”
Mrs. Doe: “Oh my lord, his brain is completely gone. OK, pull the plug”
You see, there is no question what it means.
