Redefining "disability" has been proved not to change the unemployment concerns or increase productivity in any any way shape or form.
I’m gettin the urge to get me some of that free disability.
Mournful numbers indeed.
“How? I have heart disease, severe diabetes and a dozen other major conditions and have been turned down THREE times!”
Tell them you’re a black, transgendered, lesbian, illegal alien, Muslim and you’ll be just fine.
Have tried a lawyer? The lawyers are advertising on TV out here in CA.
Funny you should say that. After Katrina, I moved to Texas from Biloxi MS to look for work as my business had been destroyed (business owners and the self-employed, such as commissioned salespeople don’t get unemployment insurance) and was denied food stamps because I was white. Later, I found a job as a supervisor at the Texas Workforce Center overseeing the give-aways to the New Orleans Katrina evacuees. No, I’m not kidding.
2nd and 3rd time was with a lawyer.
85,000 more Obama voters.
Yep, disabled.
How did the original Colonist and Pioneers make it..???
They had much less than your average “poor” American and no
infrastucture.

You and my wife are in the same boat.. Hardly able to work, and no one would hire her if the knew the issues she had.
Been turned down twice.. waiting the 2-3 years to see the judge now.
Our govt. truly makes life easy for theives. If you cannot find one way to have them extort money from your neighbors then just fill out another form. Eventually you will find one that fits your particular circumstances.
When I first moved up to WA in 2005, I went down the street to see if I could find someone willing to take me out on their boat to survey my property so I could consider building stairs down to my beach. Met a nice guy with a sailboat, which he frequently took solo up to the San Juan islands and elsewhere.
He became my handyman, and regularly mowed my lawn... at least when he wasn’t out sailing. I eventually found out that he had been fighting for disability for a couple of years for a fall from a ladder he had. Eventually he won full coverage... then proceeded to drink himself to death within 2 months.
