81 here right now, kind of cloudy. My Spanish music books didn’t come today. It’s not anything really exciting - just an update of our current book - but I feel like getting *something* in the mail!
While I was at Walmart, I had time to kill, waiting for the pharmacy to open, then another hour to kill while waiting for the bus. I was not in a hurry.
I found a little mouse with matching pad...turquoise and lime green, for $8! LOL!
Then i found some stickers to dress up the PC lid, in paisley, turquoise and lime green with some purple! The Stig says he likes it!
The mouse is pretty small, but that just means it’s good for travel.
I spent two hours last night adding movies and TV episodes to my Netflix account. I figure I have enough entertainment to last me for the next four years! LOL!
The doc changed my BP prescription, and said there should be minimal side efffects with the current one. We shall see. At least I don’t have to see him for a month, making sure I keep a log of the BP readings.
Heat Index: 105°F
Humidity: 7%
Dew Point: 34°F
So Far Today
High: 115°F
Low: 88°F
Rain: 0.00”
Rain Rate: 0.00”/h
Gust: 16mph W
The “Official” temp is at the local airport, which is way west and south from here. If I had a shady place to hang a thermometer, I would have a more accurate reading.
However, I would have to install it in the shade of a remada, which means someone could steal it. NOT!!!
85 here. The girls came home from the pool because it was said that thunder was heard. I didn’t notice any here, but I was going to pick them up shortly anyway.
I got my hair cut. It was too hot the way it was!
Glad you have new BP meds - I hope this one works out better than the previous kind.
The good thing about the BP meds is that the DR CARES! That makes it easier for me to trust him and confide in him. While I was waiting for the bus this AM (I had already emailed my concerns to the doc) the docs office called to tell me what to expect.
The awesome thing is that if I have a query, he will either email me or have his slaves call me. I can’t ask for more!
If I can make my paltry pennies last another week or two, I, too, will get a shave and a haircut: 2 bits!
What’re you up to? Canning spaghetti sauce here.
I’m up to 5’9”, now!
I also have a skettigets recipe that ROCKS!!!!
Not much. spaghetti sauce sounds good, I am curious to your recipe?
Want my spaghetti sauce recipe? You will fall in love with it! :o]
Hey, post it. I like spaghetti. And when I make it, I make really big batches and can it. Canning spaghetti sauce is falling-down easy.
Pressure cooker or open bath?
Bye
YES!!!! Please...;)
Wait!!! What about the spaghetti recipe?
I sent you some pennies! You didn’t spend them all on champagne already?!?
I’d send Jamie to do your hair, but that would be cost-prohibitive. Mine is just really short again, like it was back in May.
Pressure cooker. Added lemon juice to lower pH. Mr. Sg takes care of those details. I do the prep. (Tired old lady.) Gotta get pH strips to be more scientific about this stuff.
Pressure cooker. Ummm. Let the cooker cool down slowly or the sauce will boil over and ruin the seals.

Since I’m a noob at canning, I’d trust Face’s input more than mine.
One more thing: I used sweet basil as opposed to oregano because nobody I grew up with put oregano in sauce—they only used it on pizza. G’night!
