I know people who are buying this argument.

Wait til they get to see all the unintended consequences. By the time everyone wakes up, it'll be too late.

The US is heading in to a long night of darkness, and the world will follow suit.

All that remains is do we allow it or put up a fight.

Any money collected to operate a government program is a tax.

Get the bill number and look it up at
How about the law as passed since it isn't a bill any longer?

@ PUBLIC LAW 111–148 Entitled The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

It's just 906 pages long.

I suggest using the search function and plug in "transfer".

Unfortunately for DC, it is becoming healthier to live life without them, then live life with them.

Wassserman Schultz: “This is a penalty that will be assessed on the tax return if you choose to roll the dice and make us all pay for your being irresponsible and increase all of our health care costs...“We’re not going to tolerate that any more in America. You have to be responsible and you have to pay a penalty if you choose not to be..."

Hey, Debbie Girl, you need to be reminded - if you'll pause for a couple of seconds to listen - that not everyone who elects not to have (government-approved) medical insurance is "irresponsible" and makes "us all pay." Far from it! There are folks who "choose to roll the dice" and are perfectly capable and willing to pay for their medical bills as they incur them when the dice come up snake eyes.

Conversely, having insurance is not necessarily the be all and end all of access to medical care; to the contrary, there are many who now have and will have medical insurance which doesn't cover the particular medical services they need - especially when you add inevitable government rationing to the equation.

As is so often the case, only a nitwit can find any rationality in Wasserman Schultz's rant. All she's after is a single payer, one-size-fits-all tyranny over the lives of our citizenry, and she's perfectly willing to shove it down our throats even if the vast majority doesn't want it.

This from an individual who has a lifetime “Rolls-Royce” healthcare plan that costs her absolutely nothing and a pension that would make make your eyes pop if you knew the details, along with any automobile she desires, plus fuel, insurance and maintenance, that you pay for. It’s in the constitution that there’ll be no nobility here, but they sure seem like nobles to me.

You can look up Debbie's pension plan ~ it's called Federal Employee's Retirement System.

It's divided into three parts ~ a defined benefit part, a 401(k) like part and Social Security.

Congresscritter's pay the same fees and make the same deposits federal employees make.

All the details are very public.

Now, about the car ~ she's DNC Chairman ~ that job comes with an appropriate "strap on" ~ if desired, but most likely she makes use of the DNC's chauffered limo.

Having hitch hiked to work many times with members of Congress I'd like you to know they usually have a late model car with an intermediate package.

First they pass Legislation saying that you must be treated at the Emergency Room whether you can pay of not.

Now they say Onbamacare is needed because of THAT law.

Just get rid of the first Law and you won't need the second Law.

I think Pelosi said that we are paying for the "One Percent” Scofflaws trying to get away without buying insurance that use the Emergency Room as a Doctor's Office.

Yes she said One Percent. I guess Illegals are only counted as one hundredth of a Human Being.

Yes, the 'Rats who drew up Obamacare were very diligent to exclude themselves from its oppressive tyranny, and for no logical reason other than to rub salt into the collective wounds of those they seek to harm.

I wasn’t talking about an automobile from the Democratic Party, I was referring to her congressional automobile. And Representatives/Senators have an upgraded pension plan that they are vested in the minute they take the oath of office. Besides, she won’t be DNC Chair much longer, she is being replaced by Mr. Obama.

An "upgraded' ~ from what?

Their pensions are computed the same way except they get two years credit for one year service time.

Fortunately most of them don't serve all that long.

BTW, vesting takes place after 5 years computed service.

http://blogs.ajc.com/jamie-dupree-washington-insider/2012/06/08/congressional-auto-leases/ ~ there are Congresscritters who lease vehicles out of their office allowance. These may well be at field offices. Debbie isn't shown as leasing a car, and unless she's the Speaker of the House she doesn't get a limousine.

Besides the complaint against her is that she doesn't drive American cars ~ just foreign cars.

Where do you get these ideas.

You might want to check out the fact that “direct taxes” that are not apportioned are unconstitutional, as well.
