How Many Levels of Firefighters is your Community supporting? That is the Question How Many are in Boca Raton on Retirement Salaries larger than their Working Salaries? Then you have to replace him with another one.Its the Govt. Unions and Crooked Politicians that made these contracts that are Bankrupting the Cities ,we Taxpayers who dont have anything close to these benefits and are Struggling are paying for this Corruption and THAT is the issue, not that we dont want more Firefighters and Teachers and all that Political Okey Doke Bull Crap

So what? It's all government and their are economically gang raping the private sector. The local cities, counties, states, are nothing but government fiefdoms, filled with tens of hundreds of thousands of bloated government employees, many of which belong to corrupt unionized government mobs.
It matters because firefighters, cops, teachers, etc. are local issues that are dealt with a lot easier than things at the state and federal levels. If local citizens don't want as many firefighters as they have, they can reduce that number or just put a hiring freeze into effect. No so at the federal level - it would take us voting out many of the Congress critters before budgets started to truly be slashed.
