HBO Apologizes for Bush Head in ‘Game of Thrones’ DVD

With respect, I do not think this is trivial. The prop head itself may not be the most pressing issue of the day, but one should consider the whole picture. A film was made depicting the assassination of President Bush, and no less a celebrated author than Vincent Bugliosi wrote a widely publicized book calling for the arrest and trial of George W. Bush on murder charges. Bugliosi stated publicly that if the verdict called for such a measure, then Bush should be subjected to the death penalty.

Taken in its totality it's clear that a vindictive campaign of demonization has been conducted against the man that could clearly lead a deranged individual to murder Bush with a demented sense of righteous vindication as if trying to kill Hitler in 1944. Such a threat to Bush's life is still a possibility even long after the man left office, particularly when SS protection is slated to end in another six years.

That IS a big deal, IMHO.
