This is good news and sends the message that the AFL-CIO, a mainstay of Democrat party candidates and coffers, is pulling back. The reasons are obvious. From the AFL-CIO point of view, Obama has miserably failed the unions - Wisconsin was simply the tipping point - and the claims that doing this "has been in the works for months" and "this isn't a slight to the president" ring very hollow, especially to the narcissist Obama. His response, if any, should be interesting.

Unions are in their final death-battle. They are gonna tug at Obama’s shorthairs until he implements Card Check by executive order. That’s the only thing that will reverse their long decline, enforced membership.
