Di Feinstein (D. CA) is hopping mad, calling for an investigation and knows plenty. I’m thinking Gates is one of her highly informed sources, who knows of the insider activities, still has plenty of connections among the current players. Di Fi means business and is not yet opposing appointing a special counsel, as McCain recommends, though she wants a senate investigation, which she will recommend starting tomorrow morning in a special meeting with her committee on intelligence.
