It’s looking like a falling man grabbing a branch sticking out of the cliff every now and then. He struggles for a while and then the branch breaks. It just broke.
They go up and down. But all my stocks continue to pay their dividends, and did so even during the market lows in 2009....except for GE. Lately, I’ve been seeing a fair number of increases.

I remember reading “The Forgotten Man” by Amity Shlaes. Texas crude, at one point in 1933, sold for 4 cents a barrel...that is how deep the depression hit the oil industry.
Even though those were 1933 dollars, it still must’ve seemed very very cheap.
