Don't worry. This is why Obama gave Egypt our most sophisticated surface-to-air missile system last year. Egypt's new Muslim Brotherhood regime will do just fine. Oh wait....(gulp!)
It won’t matter. In 1967, they had fancy toys, too. But Jordan, Egypt and Syria did themselves in, really. Our fancy toys were in no way better than theirs. They had us surrounded and outnumbered, but G-d had other plans.

Thanks for the ping - been away a long time! So glad for Israel - seems they won’t have to rely on anyone but God for energy or anything for that matter! Wise choice!
I did not know that they were THAT far along but - Knowing the Israelis, I'll bet you a dime to a thousand dollars they will mount cannon, (and) missiles on their oil platforms.
They don't put up with shit from their neighbors because they "Know" what to expect.
I'll also bet their Air Force and Navy will be available on a moments notice. I know from personal experience. During the "6" day war they bombed out communications site in Jordan before we even got there. They warned the few troops they had 5 minutes to get clear of the equipment (which had not even been set up yet) and then they would bomb the site. They did and my trip to Jordan was called off immediately. I was also monitoring the Listening Ship "Liberty" when they drifted near the Egyptian / Israeli waters. They flew over and informed them to move off 50 or more miles or they would also be bombed. The ship commander ignored the warning and 15 minutes later they were shot up and a couple of guys were killed and half a dozen or more were wounded before the Captain got the message and backed off.

Israel is fortunate that, in all likelihood, exploration and extraction of the newly discovered off-shore oil and natural gas resources will not be prevented by leftist politics, as has been the case to a large extent in the US. Drill, Israel, drill!!!
