She was paid at least 100 times as much as an actual journalist; entirely on the basis of her looks, her hairdo, her clothes ... all the things she now claims to be offended about. She got to where she is by being perky and fairly attractive. She's 55 now, and her looks are being maintained by massive amounts of makeup and other means. She knows she's almost done, and will have to move aside for the next perky one.
