Instead of backing off he should have added that Obama has not been vetted and nobody really knows a lot about his background

And throw in his staying in Rev Wright's church despite his anti American diatribes

Hussein Ubama was not born in the U.S. and he can't prove he was. His citizenship is no longer in doubt. Hopefully the TEA Party will conduct solid spine growing classes and maybe get the Mass. suit model a back brace also.

He needn’t apologize, Obama himself questioned it.

He should just be armed with the info and quote it to anyone who comnplains:

Coffman need not apologize since we now know Obama is the source of the born in Kenya “rumor” and that another book that came out this week said Obama questioned his identity while in college as to whether he was International or American. Natural-born citizens don’t have such identity problems.
