Been using “Weather Underground” for years. Its usefulness is not even close to what I described (although it is VERY useful in it’s own way..and FAR better than “The Weather Channel”). This may be a case of “you have to see it to understand”, which experience I can’t provide (unfortunately).

I’ve been telling folks for a long time that the first step to saving the country is to turn off the televisions.

I'm with you guys. Chucked the TV awhile ago and do not miss it a bit.

I hear friends talking about the latest refuse on TV and wonder to myself how they can logically stand to waste their time watching that tripe.

I watch pretty much everything online, streaming - no downloads - for free. Lots of decent programming from the UK plus our junk here - with no commercials :>)

People record the show and skip the commercials anyway.

As much as I'd like to eliminate that, the Weather Channel website has to get MUCH better at local forecasts than the local weathercaster first.

Predict you're own weather. See it coming in your direction, in high resolution, here. Hell, you pay for it with your tax dollars, you might as well use it.

WowWEE! You've been an insightful genius for a long time haven't you Hoefling?

Why don't you list your vice presidential candidate (LOL) in the same font size as your own name on your home page?

Fox news and others threaten to go to a pay to view channel.

Ooo...I'm shaking. Hope the door smacks your arrogant, fat a$$ on the way out!

Haven't watched Fox news since the election.

Jackwagons.
