"We need to connect with our neighbors to form strong local groups, ready to take on whatever challenges we face. Together, there's no limit to what we can achieve."
The article in The American Spectator here speaks of today's Tea Party of Worcester, MA.
On November 1, 1896, immediately before the election of 1896 (McKinley v. Bryan) there was a demonstration in Worcester, MA calling for "Sound Money." It was the Tea Party Rally of its time. My family was from Worcester, MA, and my Great-grandfather, one of the ~40 named clergy in the article who participated.
>10,000 people marched: politicians, community leaders, businessmen, the clergy, etc.
It was a precursor of sorts to the Tea Party rallies of today, and at a very critical time in the history of the US. Remember "Free Silver"
Like our 9-12 Rally, these "Sound Money" demonstrations happened in many cities on that day -- all up and down the East Coast in fact.
Imagine if we could focus our efforts this year with a similar rally before this 2012 election just like the 9-12 Rally in 2009!
As it appeared in the Worcester Spy
FReegards!
Bring it on, you illegitimate constitutionally ineligible s##thead.
Pretty easy to run a contrasting ad — peaceful Tea Party rallies with grannies, business owners, veterans, etc. vs. Obama-sanctioned, violent OWS dirtbags.
This is bad political advice from people who are so used to gulling the public with astroturf that they can't think in terms other than their own. Welcome to the tar pits, boys.
Obama and the GOP have that in common.
