Nothing new.
One other factor over which there has been much misinformation, primarily based on the extremely misleading photos of TM and Zimmerman is their relative size. The original perception of the media fed public was that Zimmerman weighed about 250 and that TM was about 5’6” and weighed about 100. In actuality, at the time of the shooting, Zimmerman was about 5’9” tall and weighed about 170. TM was at least 6’ tall, probably closer to 6’ 3”, and weighted about 160. So there was little weight differential, but TM was significantly taller. This is not a situation where a reasonable man would want to boldly confront a stranger that towered over him. All just another part of the con job.
