There is also a strong possibility of N. Korea provocation after missile launch, especially because it had failed. I am somewhat worried that the threat is more specific. They could bomb some location in Seoul with heavy people traffic, such as a subway station or a shopping mall. One agent and one bomb, and scored dead or injured. I don't expect rocket attack on Seoul.

This whole exercise of figuring out NK intention is like LEO going over a cryptic message left by a serial killer.

Indeed. Except that the typical serial killer (even with a criminal mentality) often displays a certain set of ethical standards and appears to live by a moral code, unlike the thugs and goons in Pyongyang.

SonsofBitches. They make this noise ALL THE TIME. What is this, threat number 23,507? (Turn Seoul into a cauldron, punish the South Korean puppets, drive the Imperialist Americans into the sea?) TO HELL WITH THEM, I say because of this threat, start launching even MORE propaganda balloons into the South near Kaesong and Pyonggang, with insulting images of Kim Jong Un, some of them such as the one I posted here (a cartoon) of a huge birthday cake exploding in his fat face, with remnants of a failed DPRK rocket mixed into the cake. I say, ramp up the psy war. I would also say the joint command should say that ANY terrorist attack upon or in Seoul will require an immediate attack on downtown Pyongyang, particularly targeting the command and control centers of the KPA in addition to the known residences of Kim Jong Un. Let’s not split hairs here. Sorry for the hardline attitude but I have just about had my fill of these jokers.
