So what is Obama doing this time while his manufactured frenzy is covering his tracks?

Yeah, I remember all those GOP-e types (aka RINOS) coming to Sarah Palin’s defense and the defense of her kids when they were being attacked. /sarc

Seems to me that both sides are quite happily using this distraction.

You know, that was my very first thought as well, when I read this headline.

Typical. A top Obamanoid comes out with a nasty, lying insult against Romney’s wife. She is called on it. And then somehow this becomes “mommy wars,” with both sides equally responsible.
Moral equivalency between the terrorist attacker and the guy who defends himself. Typical libthink.

Yeah, but, cripplecreek, this ain’t your Grand Pa’s America. In this day and age, you have to use every dirty trick you can against your opponent because they will do the same to you when they get the chance. Close elections hinge on the fringe. This is a “fringe” issue; not a real issue. Especially the DemocRATS. It’s not your Grand Pa’s Democratic Party anymore either. Ronald Reagan was the last “nice guy” to win on the issues. Since then, sad to say, nice guys are found in the “Lost” Column. The gloves are off.

The GOP needs to milk this like the DemocRATS milked the Sandra Fluke thing. That's what the commies want us to do. We should answer every attack with "where are the jobs" "how is a life of unemployment treating you" "is your life better now than it was 4 years ago" and so on. Lets make the only issue to be discussed, the economy and our lack of respect from world leaders. This should be the central and only issue and the topic of the day - every day. All of these side bar issues distract from the failures of this knuckle head and his posse.

Of course, that goes without saying. But, when the opposing team is sending one of it's bullies to sucker punch you you don't lay down and cover your face and let him kick your brains out. You whip his ass. This ain't your Granddad's Democratic Party we're fighting today.

Our answer should have went like this - “Ann Romney has never worked a day in her life? In this economy there are hundreds of thousands who might not ever again work another day in their life”
What’s wrong with that?

I know you’re a Newt supporter as was I. Newt would have jumped on this and kicked ass just like he did in the SC Debate. And by the way, did you notice how every time Newt confronted the “distractions” his popularity went up? When he tried, in the next Debate, to be a nice guy, he got his butt handed to him. But, I can see I wasted my time trying to reason with you. Have a nice day, my man.
