But, given the political nature of this case, I expect a show trial.
Unfortunately, it appears to me that, regardless of what happens, Zimmerman will spend the rest of his life in prison, either:
1) Because he is convicted (which carries a minimum of 25 years and a maximum of life); or,
2) If he is acquitted, or after he gets out of prison following a conviction, he will have to go into permanent hiding (giving up his life, thus a very real form of prison) because of the vigilantes who would want to hunt him down.
Too bad, especially if he is acquitted.
How does Zimmerman manage to get a judge that hasn't been either coerced or bought by the Obama administration? Sounds like an impossible task.
