What a shame.
That is a very real thing. A guy in the radio room was showing off naked pictures of his new girl friend. It turned out to be the other guy's wife.
It did (does) happen.
Man I have had wives all but rip my pants off. The most memorable one was the lactating wife. The most beautiful woman in the whole world, My God she was pretty to me, who asked me if I wanted go to her home and watch her pump her breasts. And she was dead serious. She said, but I'll have to take a shower first.
It took three hernias and groin pull for me to say no. But, I did. One of the hardest things I have ever done in my life. I still think about it and kind of regret saying no, but stories like this, tend to keep me straight.
This is exactly what I was thinking about when I said no.
How does Clive Cussler compare with Clancy? I used to read Clancy a lot—but I ran out of unread novels by him about the time my kids began showing up.
Less military and techno-detail, and a less turgid writer than Clancy. Cussler novels zip right along. Also, I like the characters better. Try the “Oregon” series, those are my favorites.
At McGuire AFB in New Jersey a military retiree flipped out and killed someone at the communications building. He was taken out by security forces. Seems he made numerous complaints to the base that the radiation from the facility was driving him crazy.
I like thrillers by the author Douglas Boyd. He wrote “The Fiddler and the Ferret”, and other good ones. He is not as well known as he should be, but his books are good stuff. Very good background about the intelligence agencies and how they work.
From an article in the Kansas City Star:
People coming on base - including known cab drivers bringing people there - have to show photo identification to guards to gain access. Visitors are usually provided escorts while on base.
The lack of information about what happened was making residents jumpy, said Cavender, whose bar is popular with fishermen. Many were on the verge of arming themselves.

How closely does this incident coincide with the North Korean’s so-called satellite launch?
Hmmmmm .... That is an interesting question.
Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll check the library.
Still no news on this case? Most strange.
