As it says, unclear when this will happen. IF he goes to WKDN 106.9 here is their signal range:

The station is technically licensed to Camden NJ and was previously owned by Family Radio (how's that rapture workin' out for ya Harold)

just out of curiosity, how does that coverage map compare to the map for the current station? The article does say the move is from AM to FM but doesn't inform the reader that the drop in power is not apples to apples.

Orlando powerhouse WDBO AM moved many of their talk shows to 96.5 FM, formerly a great classic rock station with a huge footprint. However, Rush is NOT on 96.5 simply because the better FM signal would have been in direct competition with several AM stations carrying Rush outside of the metro Orlando area (e.g. WMMB in Melbourne).

Rush will do just fine and if the NYT thinks the audience won't follow they haven't got a clue.

Who is set to replace Smerconish after he says something that gets Leftist panties in a twist?

Or is Smerconish one of those hosts who just agrees with everything every caller says?

Heard of Smerconish. Don't know much about him.

On the political spectrum, is he closer to Al Sharpton or Rush Limbaugh?

Why doesn't WPPPPHHHHT replace Limbaugh with NPR?

[Mr. Smerconish is a relative rarity on radio: a moderate.]

LOL! Now we have the “Moderate” option.......Like Huckabee is not “Moderate”. That market is already dead and they will learn that the hard way. Conservatives are what resurrected Conservative talk radio, and are the only ones who care enough to actually listen and support the stations that air it.

Moderates are brain dead and watch Oprah and Phil Donahue for their political and mental “stimulation”

I glanced down the replies, but didn’t see that anyone else noted Rush is returning to his perch on FM. He used to be carried by WWDB-FM 96.5 until they got bought out and flipped to music; the line-up of WWDB moved over to WHTP thereafter. Hope WKDN builds itself up as the area’s Conservative Talker.

Ping.
