Counterproductive moral vanity in my opinion; a political perspective that embraces statism to achieve a desired outcome.

If Santorum had gotten out after Florida, and sent his delegates to Newt during the primary, like a mature adult, Newt, after sparring with Romney, and exposing voters to his ideas, would be heading toward the nomination. Let’s keep a little visual acuity in our rear-view mirror pronouncements. Minimum.

What?

You have had either a major awakening and reconsideration regards Sarah Palin, or you are posturing.

I remember the bile you spewed regards her, so, what has changed?

I also remember PSYCHO's supportive posts of Romney the past few days, after posing as a Newt supporter for many months. Exactly who do you support for the Republican nomination, Psycho?

No one can force you to abandon moral principle.

Newt won Georgia. He graduated from high school there. If you want to be technical..RS lives in Virginia.
Yes, no one paid any attention to Santorum and everyone knew he was never a threat. He won’t be the nominee..it was Newt they wanted to take out including the media elites.Romney’s super pacs spent millions attacking Newt in Iowa, millions attacking Newt in Fla and Newt still came in 2nd in Fla but due to sneaky tricks he didnt get any delegates.
It is not old news that Santorum endorsed Mitt 3 yrs ago..and as for the creme de la creme endorsing Newt..he has more of the true conservatives than Santorum.

Okay...so your argument is that if Newt hadn't been in, his supporters would have stayed home. Guess what? Romney would still have won those states then.

Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner! We have a winner!

(Exactly.)

Do you regard Michelle Malkin as ‘not a true conservative’?

Dr. Dobson in Colorado?

Hopefully, a Nebraska delegate. I was responding to you saying conservatives are not smart. The fact that you must knee before romney says everything about you.

Do you believe that it’s the obligation of the federal government to protect the lives of unborn children?

No. I believe it is the obligation of the several states. Any government that can outlaw abortion, can make it mandatory. (See China's One Chile Policy.)

BTW, I have to apologize for the couple of times we bumped heads (between Palin and Perry)... That seems like a lifetime ago now >.< Here and now, I agree with you 100% and I would be happy with either Palin OR Perry.. Once Newt is out.. there are no Conservatives left.. only CINOs :/

Romney = Obummer-Lite
Santorum = Romney-Lite

ROMTORUM / SANTOMNEY
>.<

I am on the same wave length as you. We are all at an awkward point in the race. We now have a choice to minimize the damage, and that means we cannot take the chance of Obama winning. We need every vote we can get. Even if the nominee is Romney, we can hold his feet to the fire better that anyone, because he has promised us the Conservative Moon for the nomination.

At least if he takes Obama out, that will give us time to move the old furniture out of the GOP, and replace it with newer, smaller and more user friendly furniture that suits our needs and not the GOPE. But if Obama wins, we have no second chance.

Again, I do not support Romney, and I never have.

Again, Santorum beat Newt in both. Newt winning states Santorum won isn’t a net gain for team conservative.

And before you irrelevantly claim that because Santorum won those two, they don’t count, because you didn’t mean states that Santorum won, that Newt could’ve won, but rather you meant states Romney won that Newt could’ve won...

Don’t bother, that’s ridiculous.

If you claim the two are competing for the same votes, then any close state between those two, regardless who won the state, is a state that Santorum’s presence caused Newt to lose.

Both AL and MS were close enough between those two, if they were drawing from the same voters, Newt would’ve cleaned up like he did in SC and GA, if Santorum had not been there.

Any logical thinker knows that there are countless dynamics behind the way this Primary season turned out. Newt would have been the nominee by now, had Santorum dropped out before Iowa. Running at or below 2% the entire year while all the other nominees were still in, says a whole lot about the man.

You're exactly what I'm talking about.

Haven't you even paid attention to the thread? I don't like Santorum because he's NOT CONSERVATIVE ENOUGH for my taste, and I've been advocating that conservatives LEAVE THE GOP rather than vote for Romney - because I despise Romney the RINO that much.

Learn what you're talking about before you start typing.
