Stealing our medicare and taking away the women's birth control to pay for ‘more’ tax cuts for the rich.

Republicans keep on jumping into these steep uphill battles with approaches and arguments that assume that they are easy sells. It is hard to imagine that they didn't think of one argument newer than the Reagan era.

One possible answer to SJB's question is that Republicans want to lose because being in the minority is easy.
