Obama understands the art of politics is largly about playing to perception & emotion to avoid playing to facts & logic.
Like it or not one of the biggest flaws in the idea of Democracy is that men are still animals most of which without an unshakable foundation in logic. It is not so difficult to uses the emotions of men to get them to ignore reason.
Do you understand professionalism?
That is exactly what the Obama campaign undertook from the very first. This according to the admission of ex-Sen. Tom Daschle, whom Obama intended to make a cabinet officer, in a PBS interview ("safe interview", safe audience) a week before the 2008 election.
Bold admission, made confidently in the knowledge that the corrupt Media were complicit.
Good help this country if he is
Another example of Obama’s “get the lie out” campaign was his reference to Paul Ryan’s budget plan as damaging our weather service reporting.
You see this was said so Obama could get rid of a bunch of people in the weather service, which he just did, and blame it on republicans.
Obama does this because he knows the partners to his lies, the news media, will never report that Ryan’s budget will never be passed through the Reid controlled Senate and has nothing to do with the NWS.
He did what all the other democRats do, when they are in a losing cycle and that is using the scare tactic and then hoping it will stick
Why is that? The Founders warned that, in order for their Constitution's protections to endure, rising generations would have to be educated in the ideas essential to liberty so that they could recognize the efforts which power-hungry individuals and groups might take to overthrow that Constitution's principles and "erect" their own tyrannical plans.
For decades now, generations of youth of all backgrounds and ethnicities in America's government/union dominated schools have been deprived of reading or studying those principles, which included a prohibition on government's intrusion on Creator-endowed, thus, inalienable rights.
The "ignorance," or "constitutional illiteracy" of many otherwise highly-educated persons should not be an insult to their own Creator-endowed gift of reason, but a castigation and rebuke to those who deliberately have robbed them of their heritage in a proper understanding of the ideas of liberty.
"When designs are form'd to raze the very foundation of a free government, whose few who are to erect their grandeur and fortunes upon the general ruin, will employ every art to sooth the devoted people into a state of indolence, inattention and security, which is forever the fore-runner of slavery." Samuel Adams - Article signed "Candidus," in Boston Gazette, December 9, 1771
"If the public are bound to yield obedience to laws to which they cannot give their approbation, they are slaves to those who make such laws and enforce them." Samuel Adams - As Candidus in the Boston Gazette, January 20, 1772
You mean the one he stuttered through, and when he “re-took” that oath, the public never got to hear it?
