All manner of artifice is acceptable among women, while it’s not for men. A woman wearing a wig or a weave is not even noteworthy. A man is a source of amusement.
Sorry if this strikes you as yet another opportunity to fire up the gender wars, as if it really needed any help, but the business reality is that men are by far and away the larger market.
If it’s pattern baldness that is your concern, you can likely rest assured that this applies there as well, just as the other treatments do.
Hope that helps to assuage any feminist angst that might be bubbling up.
No angst. I was just curious. I know a woman who underwent chemo and for some reason regrowth is spotty.
Apologies for the rant, then.
Chemo can do strange things with hair, a late great aunt had hers come back in brown and wavy, when it was gray and basically straight before chemo.
Has she had her thyroid levels checked? That could be a culprit.
Somebody beat you to it.
