I’ve visited the website of Texas Department of Criminal Justice and it’s amazing what info you can find there regarding those on death row and those who’ve been executed. With those who’ve been executed you can see, among other things, the “last statement” the condemned makes.I find it interesting how many acknowledge their crimes and express remorse and apologize to the victim’s family.Yes,many claim that they’re innocent and what’s being done to them is wrong but a surprising (to me,at least) percentage don’t.
Joe, I hope you've made your peace with God because your face-to-face meeting is long overdue.
Remember, this is Texas, we'll kill you back.
Maybe...
Perhaps...
Sometimes...
A few of you...
Later, rather than sooner...
Texas is supposed to be an example of capital punishment done right
I don't really see that as the case, but rather another example of the law being exercised capriciously, inequitably and usually obscenely delayed.
Isn’t this just an example of post-birth abortion? Shouldn’t he be eligible for a Harvard faculty position in the Medical Ethics department?
