More Democrats will actually vote for Romney in the general than conservatives will.....

Yeah, that's the pub-e strategy. See? I'm just like Obama, only... not so radical. Kinder and gentler. It just takes a little longer.

Make no mistake, he COULD win, but once again the pub-e's and the rats will have ensured that no matter who loses, they win.

Nope. Not going to happen. I have already held my nose and voted for that POS John McCain. Not doing that again. Enough is enough. If Mittens is the best that the GOP can give us then shame on them and I am no longer going to play this game. We defeated the Soviet Union and now we are becoming them.

Ok, it's election day. The candidates are Obama and Romney.

Whatcha gonna do? Commit suicide?

You're putting your energy into the wrong fight.

Even if he manages to win the nomination, which is extremely doubtful given the electoral math and makeup of the remaining primaries, he can't win the general election!

He is totally unelectable!

His record will be used against him like a club to beat him to death, rhetorically speaking, before the vote is taken place by both Obama and the Media.

We have never had a candidate before with a worse record than Romney.

John McCain was lily white in comparison.

Romney's own record as proof to why he won't be elected:

1. Supported Gay Adoption as Governor.
2. Implemented and Supported Gay Marriage as Governor
3. Supported Abortion as Governor
4. Supported the Brady Bill
5. Implemented an "Assault" Weapons Ban at the state-level AFTER the Federal AWB was allowed to elapse.
6. Believes in Global Warming.
7. Supported a state-level Cap-N-Trade system as Governor.
8. Supported TARP.
9. Supported Amnesty for Illegal Aliens (Pathway to Citizenship).
10. Implemented a SOCIALISTIC HealthCare Insurance model in MA that included $50 Abortions and an Individual Mandate.

Those of you putting energy into trying to convince the rest of us conservatives to vote for ROmney if he is the candidate are flogging a dead horse, he CANNOT WIN!

Wake up already and join us, however you can, in the fight to beat Romney, it is the only hope you have to have the GOP win POTUS in 2012!

The unmitigated arrogance of that man is a constant irritation. His entitlement state of mind is a good indication that no one should vote for him.

Some who are very conservative may not yet be in my camp, but they will be when I become the nominee, when I face Barack Obama.

Guess again. On both counts.

The crash will be blamed on conservatives with Romney as president despite his every attempt to stimulate the economy with Keynesian solutions. I don’t see Romney as an improvement for the country

It’s your fault if you don’t stand with conservatives.

The Republican Party is faking you out. Have the courage to do what is right.

No, retarded is making an argument for something not likely to occur (Romney winning the Nomination) and then trying to badger conservatives into voting for a candidate who is a Progressive Liberal, whose positions/actions are the antithesis of everything they believe in and who can never win because of his horrendously left-wing record.

Basically calling for people to wage a Quixotic fight they cannot win, instead of doing the rational thing and expending their energy for lower races and quite possibly putting their effort into setting up a third-party since the GOP has gone so far left they would nominate such a total loser.

Another false choice by a closet Mitt Romney supporter, how unexpected.

There are other options, conservative options, options that do not require me to violate my conscience or my Christian principles.

Let me repeat myself, Mitt Romney cannot win the General Election, and it is highly unlikely given the electoral math and remaining primaries that he will win the nomination.

You're wasting posting bandwidth supporting a sure loser.

I like the way that you think. Said the same thing to my wife the other day. I would much rather do the fighting than leave it up to my children. Told my father that his generation was negligent in that they didn’t rub out each and every one of those hippy freaks before they were able to fully infect the nation. Freedom isn’t free. But, so long as we have sports on the TV nothing will ever happen. Karl Marx (one of obama’s heros I’m sure) once called religion the opiate of the masses. Today it’s sports on TV. Bread and circuses keep 90%+ of so-called Americans out of the real game.

You are a misguided nutjob. If Romney wins the primary, who are you going to vote for genius? The state of fl got my vote for Newt.. please don’t sit out. The kenyan doesn’t need another four years..

Why don’t you think Romney MAY win? You are delusional to think that wont happen. I hate Romney. However, we must prepare ourself with facts, not ideology..

you know what. this guy not only lacks virtue. he lacks coherence, tact and manners.

how anyone can put forward a proposition that essentially claims that a deeply held position, taken after careful study and consideration, will be reversed simply by the passage of time, bespeaks a mind driven by emotion, not reason. such a mind is amenable to “ends justifies the means thinking” and that is a very great danger to my children and grandchildren.

no, i can not change my mind unless, mr. romney convinces me that mr. romney has come to a sincere conversion to conservatism. he can start by clearly uttering where he was flat out wrong in the past and asking forgiveness for it. just doing that would show me the humbleness required of any president i could vote for.

“I might be able to hold my nose and vote for Mittens (don’t know yet), but no way could I like him.”

I guess if you live in a state where your vote matters you can. I suspect clothespin makers will see a huge spike in sales come this November.
