I will also go so far as to say. Iran does not have a nuclear weapon yet. But as soon as they have one it will be used in Israel. No Threat no warning no demands. Just Boom.

That was my first concern also; however, upon reflection US military personnel in that area should already be on high alert; given the GWOT and the current ongoing hostilities. So, as usual, Newt is correct.

As an aside: The folks in the vicinity of Naval Weapons Station, Yorktown, VA area were told to expect to hear numerous loud explosions last week. Now for folks unfamiliar w/NWS Yorktown; that is VERY interesting as part of the current role of NWS Yorktown is that one USMC FAST Company is located there and I read recently that two others will be relocating there from Little Creek. Hmmmmm.

If Obama thinks our troops will get hurt and it will give him political power against Israel he will do nothing to keep those troops from harm. Want proof, look at how he changed the ROE in Afghanistan for political reasons.
