Birth control pills can be purchased for about $20 per month. If she would give up a couple of Starbucks lattes, or maybe pack her lunch instead of eating at the food court, buying them would be no problem. I’m sure condoms are even cheaper, and also have some chance of protecting against disease.
The problem is, we have a whole generation taught to believe that their money is only for buying toys and luxuries... where healthcare is involved, they shouldn’t have to pay for it themselves. And she apparently believes that birth control is healthcare, and therefore, she shouldn’t have to pay for it.
Hey—if it’s your health, shouldn’t you care enough about it to want to pay to maintain it?
she’s a DNC plant.. she attended this university to “challenge” the church’s stance on rubbers and pills. Now, she’s attending a 45k yr college and whining about spending money on rubbers and pills.
Cry me a river. I hope the democrats use this as a front and center issue. They will lose and they know it which is why they’re not mentioning “church” but “health”..
Yes.
