This is a great opportunity to tell the story of Bruce Montague. Bruce decided to protest the gun registry some years ago by ripping up his long gun license on parliament hill. For a whole year nothing happened; and then the police arrested him in front of his children at a local store, and searched his home. I don’t recall the exact details but he spent time in jail. After it was apparent that nothing more could be done to harm him, he was released. But now the government of Ontario is trying to seize his home saying his home comes from the proceeds of illegal activity.
