Interesting this is on AP - are they not the ones who sent something like eleven reporters to Alaska to look under every rock to find dirt on Palin?

“Ive said it a few times already but I really don’t think McCain wanted to be President. If he wanted to become President he wouldnt have kissed Obama’s rear every chance he got during the campaign.”

Actually, McCain was just being like so many other Republicans-more interested in civility and niceness that in doing what had to be done.

And the attacks were all coordinated by Pete Rouse and David Axelrod working next door to the Oval Office, funded by the DNC, and carried out by local Rats in Alaska.

Yep.

No! Those two pieces of “blank” deserve no notification. They act like they are judge and jury on matters they never endured. They can go to hades for all I care.

Thanks for the ping since you're talking about two other FReepers.

Oh wait, you're a no class loser, never mind.

Go eat some “blank”.

Sorry, but you misunderstand, it was actually more of a put down than a notification

Same old Lakesnark. No surprise.

So what was the pernt, as Archie Bunker would say? Did they do that rehash just so they could call her a quitter one more time? Must have been a slow news day!

Connect the dots: This is co-ordinated with the coming relaese of “Game Change.”

Remember; these guys work together, hollyweird and LSM.

P.S. Thanks for the Archie Bunker reference - you made me smile.

How many men bought the DVD (The Undefeated), brought it home, and their wives, sisters, et al refused to watch it? Am I the only one? Just curious. Almost from jump the females in my family fell in with the crowd that was so self-evidently jealous of S. Palin that is was almost farcical. Women are their own worst enemy when it comes to politics. You would think that for the maltreatment of misogynistic men alone women would have propeled S. Palin to the White House.

Exactly! And this writer called it “scrutiny”. It was petty harassment designed to drive her out of office so they could condemn her for leaving office.

AP...seems like they purposely tried to put a certain photo of her there, that made her seem angry or something!

Sarah has such perfect bone structure and features, it would be impossible to make her look bad, even if she was photographed while (justifiably) angry. Another reason the left hates her -- she is gorgeous, married to a handsome man, and has a bunch of great-looking kids. Lefties hate breeders.

I’m afraid that only some of us know these facts, as we did DURING the 08 campaign. I agree so much with both of you and have tried to spread the word about Romney. To me he AND McCain are lower than pond scum for doing this. Power does horrible things to a man’s soul, perhaps. I wouldn’t know. Haa.

I was at Cedarburg, WI, the day after Sarah was picked as VP, so it was her FIRST rally with We The People. The organizers expected about 2,000 for appearance. The roads were jammed, 5,000+ showed up, cheering and screaming for HER, NOT McCain. The press was BLOWN away here. They tried to lie about the numbers, but photos and traffic jams don’t lie. All that we know, also voted for Palin, NOT for Juan. I own property in AZ also and wish I could have voted against him for Senate in 2010. But being the law abiding conservative - I did not vote there. Shameless bunch these RINOS. Hey - we here in Wisconsin DID manage to dump Feingold - give us a high five for that! Sarah Palin rocks the house - we haven’t heard the last of her, rightfully so.

That’s me, as well. My whole entire perspective towards the GOP has been completely and negatively turned on its head these past three years, almost entirely due to the Party’s sheer disinterest and/or cowardice in its unwillingness to support one of their own.... someone who fought strongly for them again and again, but received absolutely ZERO support when targeted for political and personal obliteration. Not a single finger was lifted to help. Not when Palin’s church was burned, when there was a coordinated effort to bankrupt her, when her family was dragged through the tabloid mud, nor when the media tried to claim she was complicit in the Tucson mass-murder.

For decades I’ve voted exclusively GOP, and would view the convention every four years on television, since the days of Reagan. Now the mere thought of watching this year’s upcoming Republican convention makes me almost sick to my stomach to even contemplate.

You and I are definitely on the same page and I go all the way back to campaigning for Goldwater when I was 14.

The question ultimately arises, what would we get from such people if they got back into power? I realize a ham sandwich would be an improvement over Obama, but....

In any case, if someone who fought so hard for them as Palin did is nonetheless so expendable, what are we, their mere voters? We’re not even cannon fodder.

It’s damn disgusting.
