A lot of these cases of gender identity confusion are actual hermphrodites, at least at the age of three.

About six years ago, Vanity Fair did a really nasty article on the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, aimed at demeaning the British royalty. The upshot of the article was that the Duchess of Windsor was actually a full hermaphrodite with sex organs of both a male and female and the Duke of Windsor was gay. So, the Duke thought that the match was truly made in heaven.

The article was disgusting, exploiting a tragic situation for the Duchess of Windsor. I couldn’t even read the article.

Gender identity problems are serious and very real, whether they are physical or mental and I think it is wrong for parents to discuss such problems in their own family in the press.

It’s amazing how quick it happens as well. I’m 32 and can remember when I was a teenager that homosexuality was so taboo that to be labeled as ‘gay’ was a social death sentence. Nowadays it’s almost en vogue to be gay.

I don’t know what the Hell happened in these 15 short years, but all of a sudden being ‘gay’ is cool and ‘fag’ is an acceptable label. It’s upside down world to me, really.

What I don't understand about this story is why was their tutu's and ribbons in the home. I did not read that he had a sister. If one of my son's (I have 3) came to me anytime under my roof saying he wanted to be a girl, I would immediately ensure my daughter's clothing would be accounted for at all times. Although my son's are 13, 11, 9 and my daughter is 3, but still. lol. I am grateful that I have not had any of my kids come to me and say such things. I think as a parent that would be devastating and scary.
