good for you...if Hanoi Jane had half a brain she would be dangerous.
but she dosen’t...
My WW2 Marine/NYPD vet dad gave me my first lessons...with my own .22 rifle first...then his model 10 service revolver. he taught me safety and how to breathe and squeeze to hit targets...

I need to get some M1 carbine therapy in soon. I use my .22 just to keep my groups tight, but love to shoot the carbine.

The M1 carbine I have had never been fired when my FIL gave it to me. It still had preservative on the entire rifle. He was a bomber pilot in the Korean War and when they were returning to the states, they saw pallets of weapons being put on barges.
The dock crew said the barges would be towed into the sea and sunk with torpedoes. All the pilots got carbines and M1911 pistols and snuck them back in the AC vents. He is giving me the M1911 in the near future.

Just posting that picture made my hand itch, so I stepped out the back door and fired off five rounds of Privi Partisan ball ammo. Sweeeet
