I agree... it is PAST TIME! It must be in self defense and a security team is the way to go... but CPAC is too timid to hire BLACKWATER... but they would “git’er dun”!

Interesting.

If it was held in Virginia, the attendees would be able to legally possess the necessary means to effectively defend themselves against murderous mobs.

This makes me further question exactly how conservative the CPAC really is.

"I know that this will be like talking to water but, what do these people hope to gain from this? Like everything else these morons have done, confrontations with those attending CPAC are as pointless as spitting in a water fountain; what's the point?"

But that's assuming rational-minded people here- I don't know if that's really the case. Most sane people generally think things through before they act and try not to do outrageous (or criminal), things- and if they do, then they apologize, or show shame, afterwards.

We react with horror when we see some of the unconscionable things that have gone on at #OWS events (putting babies on train tracks, child molestation, etc.)- they simply don't. A lot of them I believe have severe mental disorders, and that's why they're attracted to that kind of stuff. Truth to be told, they probably don't even comprehend why we are so outraged by those things...

The AFL-CIO is calling for its members to join Occupy CPAC. (Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)With workshops like “Return of Big Labor: What Can We Learn from Wisconsin & Ohio,” and “Taking back Wall Street: The Tea Party vs. Occupy Wall Street,” the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) descends on the nation’s capital February 9-11 and local labor activists are planning a DC lesson to ensure that the voice of the 99% are heard at this elite conservative gathering. Actions are currently being planned for noontime and after work on Friday, February 10. Featured speakers at CPAC include Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, and presidential candidates Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, and Rick Santorum.

The organizer of this event is Trina Tocco. She lists her employer as Organizing Coordinator at Change to Win. Change to Win is a Union front PAC.

http://www.changetowin.org/

In other words, this thing is coordinated by Unions.

If attacked, CPAC attendees should file civil suits on the folks funding the OWS movement. Drain some cash from their cash-cows. Sort of like suing a company when an employee does something illegal.

In order to avoid having to shower and dress in business attire to blend in,” Scribe’s source said, “they plan to wear Ron Paul 2012 gear because they believe Paul supporters ‘generally look like hippies.’”

I love the "to avoid taking a shower" part LOL

"CPAC should be held across the river in Virginia, not DC. Better yet, in Texas.

As a matter of principal, as well as practicality, CPAC should never be held in a state that does not recognize the right of law-abiding citizens to arm themselves.

I know one thing, the way things are now, I would not go to anyplace where one does not have the right to defend oneself.
