Lessee...

Obama beat McCain, McCain beat Romney, so (using some kind of brilliant logic no sane person has ever heard of) Romney is the only person who can beat Obama.

IOW, the loser to the loser can be the winner?

Are you forgetting about Newt’s enthusiastic support for carbon taxes? I live in California. I’ve got Jerry Brown. What do I need with another global warming kook?

I am from a very conservative family. So far my Dad, 2 sisters, wife and I will not vote for Romney. My brother will vote for him but does not knock or argue with us for not voting for him.

Is this your rationale for supporting Romney?

No one has said that Newt is the perfect candidate. Compared to Romney, Newt is clearly the more conservative and better choice in this election.

I don’t support Romney—unless he’s the nominee, in which case I will support him.

Romney’s father George was born in Mexico.

so was George a US citizen at birth? or a Mexican citizen? if a Mexican citizen, did he cross the border illegally? are there naturalization papers? are those papers dated pre or post Mitts Birth?

Is Mitt Romney eligible for the presidency? or is he the perfect cover for Obama not being eligible?

We Freepers should make the NBC (natural born citizen) a critical and important issue that Romney will need to address. Make it an issue so large that the State-run media will pick-up on the issue. Then, we come down hard to lame-stream media for not addressing the Obama issue while thoroughly investigation the same issue as it relates to Mitt Romney. The progressive-communist media will then be forced to take on the Obama NBC issue as well. Does that sound like a plan?

1. George Romney's parents were American, so just because he was born in Mexico, he was still a naturally born American citizen.

2. Even if George wasn't a naturally born American, Mitt Romney was born in the United States, and is thus a naturally born American.

3. Obama had a Kenyan father and American mother. Since he was born in the United States, he's naturally born American. Had he been born in Kenya, he would not have been naturally born because his father was Kenyan but his mother was American who was not yet 18, so she couldn't confer her citizenship to him. Had Obama's mother been 18 when Obama was born, there would have been no birth certificate issue because it would have been moot.

Newt is much more liberal than Romney on immigration.

Maybe conservatives would like Romney more if Romney made a global warming ad with Nancy Pelosi, divorced his wife for his mistress, divorced his mistress wife for the next mistress, and complain about Paul Ryan.

Being smart on immigration is not being liberal. Ronald Reagan gave millions of them blanket amnesty. Was he a liberal?

“Is Mitt Romney Actually Electable?”

More than that, he not eligible. Read the following:

Mitt Romney’s Father Was A Mexican Citizen When Mitt Was Born.

Romney will only carry 1 of the “ 57 States” and that is Utah but only by a few % points.

Romney has never won a majority (50% or better) of Republican primary or caucus voters

Romney did not make 50% in that Governor election he won, he left office with 34% approval, wrecked the state party, and Dems have held the seat ever since.

George Romney’s parents owned land, a very large ranch, in Mexico. To own land in Mexico one must be a citizen of Mexico. George was born to parents who where Mexican citizens “NOT” US citizens. That makes George a Mexican citizen. If there are no naturalization papers on George or the papers are dated after Mitt’s birth then Mitt Romney is not eligible for the office of president.

Not in most of Mexico, only a certain distance from the borders, and on the coasts.

Real Estate in Mexico may be held by Americans in partnership with Mexicans.

BTW, Mexico does not operate on the Anglo-Saxon "fee-simple" ownership of real property. In fact, the Mexican Constitution does NOT protect Private Property.

Mexican Law, such as it is, is a mélange of the Code Napoleon, Roman Law, Communism, and Spanish Feudalism, with a smidgin of the Texas Commercial Code thrown in so at least somethings can get done, sometimes, if the bribes are right. Its basic premise: might makes right. The most important operating principle: Figure out just who the hell it actually is that one is supposed to bribe. Sometimes if you bribe the wrong guy, the right one will eventually come forward, but not always. You're right. It's crazy. Ask anyone who has done business with our chaotically-inclined neighbor to the South.

Hell of a thing. And, as you can see, a country cannot be run that way.

We Freepers should make the NBC (natural born citizen) a critical and important issue that Romney will need to address.

My dear Fellow Freeper, gather with us tonight at the VFW Bar so that we, your friends, may present you with
(1) A St. Jude Medal
(2) Our Porcine Aviator Award for 2012.

The progressive-communist media will then be forced to take on the Obama NBC issue as well. Does that sound like a plan?

Yes, Binky, that sounds like a plan. Mitt will get back to you on that, OK?

Why do Gingrich and Santorum make you physically ill unless you’re a godless libertarian? Also, Obama would destroy the old and feeble Paul on foreign policy.

Touchy, aren't you? I make a comment about two politicos you don't even know, and you respond with an ad hominem. Why would that be?
