McCain is so delusional. Gingrich's record doesn't track with issues dear to the Tea Party movement. You mean like balancing the budget?

Thanks Juan, you just explained exactly why Romney is unelectable. Southerners will not turn out for him enough to cancel out the black vote and Zero will win the South without losing usual Rat strongholds.

John, by that logic, what sort of doofus could possibly lose to a drug smoking Mohammedan?

McCain lives in Arizona, a state in which the mormons have a large voting block. Rumor is that he plans to retire and have his darling daughter Meghan run for his seat. He's just planning ahead.

As one of the so called “anti-Mormons” on FR, I wouldn’t vote for Romney even if he were an Evangelical Christian. His record shows he is a liberal.

McCain is only hinting at the reality if the Mormon factor. It is, in a sense, the “X” factor: unknown because it has never been studied before, and most people when polled, refuse to admit to any religious or racial bias.
If the GOP-E goes ahead and nominates Romney, and the truth about the beliefs and goals of Mormonism become more widely known, many, many, people will say no.

Christians voting their conscience, should be praised by Republicans, McCain condemns it.

(Romney is unquestionably the weakest party front-runner in contemporary political history.)
