His "ideas" are utterly preposterous. Allow millions to stay with millions more for a new "temporary work" program. Meanwhile all of their children are anchor babies. He does not even give lip service to "attrition by enforcement" via employee checks and employer sanctions. His "citizen review boards" to decide which illegals can stay? We already have those - they are called sanctuary cities, a violate Federal law. Newt is doomed if those who support him continue to believe his pandering nonsense that pleases open-borders RINOs like Chavez and Aliniskyites like Somos Republicans. His supporters need to tell him to cut it out and embrace the rule of law. Someone let Newt know that the 1986 amnesty was DISASTER for America, not something to gloat about, as he did on Univision.
If we are cut and bleeding, it is possible that we could sit around and discuss the quality of life down the road.
It makes more sense to stop the bleeding. Afterwards, there’s plenty of time to discuss life. If the bleeding isn’t stopped, that’s when death takes hold.
Build the fence. Conservatives need to quit allowing opponents to pit them against one another in arguments about the future. Build the fence, patrol it, and then we’ll have time to discuss the post-fence society.
Stop the bleeding.
Did Alabama use rubber band guns to remove the illegals from their state? Take away their handouts and all means of making a living and they will leave. We will have to do the same thing with Gingrich that we did with George Bush, fight every attempt to push amnesty, dream act or any other gift the GOP or dems want to use to pander to the illegals.
Civil disorder should mean immediate deportation. Unless this country is looking to have your horrible situation repeated in every single community, something needs to be done now. You don’t end the behavior by rewarding it, encouraging it, or pandering to it. You punish it and remove the offenders. Anyone who believes otherwise should learn to love chaos and anarchy. Because that will be the result of all the pandering.
