Liberal Romney scares me. The mormon church isn’t even a blip on my radar screen, and anyone who seriously thinks that there is any real danger of a mormon “theocratic” takeover of the USA needs to get help.
You’re connecting Jeremiah Wright with Romney and Mormonism? Yeah, you’re way off base. Catholics, Jews, Mormons...all bad to some people. Religious bigotry cheapens anyone who espouses it and it has no place on this forum.

Romney has succeeded in changing the image of Mormonism for many Americans. We used to say, “Sure, it’s a whacky little cult thing, but they’re harmless and are decent people.” Mitt has shown us that they’re neither harmless nor decent. Good job, Mitt!
A Mormon president scares me a little. You’d like to think the leader of the free worlds excercises a bit of discernment in his life. The stuff they believe is goofy, pure and simple. If he can’t/won’t give respect to the Bible by following it strictly (without bringing in fairy tales), how can we expect him to strictly adhere to the Constitution?
I’m OK with his Mormonism (not OK with other things!), but I worry that the Dems will make a very big unflattering deal of his Mormonism, a religion which is vulnerable to lots of ridicule....I’m sure the Dems’ PACs will start running ads referring to him as “Bishop Romney,” and “High Priest Mitt,” worded technically saying they have no prejudice but in fact twisted so that is dripping with exactly that.
Obama, quoting Mitt, will be able to say that hew can’t do a thing about the ads and that he has no knowledge of the ads, hasn’t seen them.
