In all fairness, Rush was hit between the eyes with all the negatives and was filtering through all the crap. I’ve heard him give Newt kudos on several occasions. He doesn’t and won’t endorse any candidate.
I’m starting to wonder if his new wife has caused Rush to go a little soft in the political area. Is she a conservative? Does anyone know?
By the time Rush takes to the air on Friday, he will have had a full day to dissect and evaluate this onslaught. If he doesn’t come out swinging from the outset, then you’ll know that Rush is complete sellout.
I don’t want to hear about how many hours he had flown, nor do I want a play-by-play of last night’s debate—at least, not until he addresses this unprecedented attack by the Romney worm.
Mitt should be disqualified from the GOP nomination for taking Obamacare off the table as an issue, and yet the GOP rubes in Florida cheer for him. Idiots, all. We are doomed.
That audience was stacked with Romney plants....total astroturf. No different than sending Romney operatives to Newt events so as to confront Newt.
I take your point about Rush, and I don’t know what’s going on, but having been a dedicated listener since 1985, and I can not think of a moment when I ever disagreed with thing one that Rush has ever said. Then yesterday happened, in concert with DRUDGE publishing a document dump against a conservative candidate, and Rush only incidentally peruses the battle field. The wrong day to wear the pointy hat and be seen triangulating above it all. I was astounded by Rush. A FIRST. Four days before an election! Florida! The big enchillada! And he tries to equalize by blabbing about Romney being under attack by a few liberal groups in Florida as if they were of the same multimillion dollar magnitude of what Romney is doing to Newt. Just me.
What are you talking about? Why don’t you make a list of things you want Levin to refute and send them over to him. Or maybe you should look to someone else to do your refuting.
As a matter of fact, in Orlando, the Great One just took over Michael Savage’s primetime slot on 580AM radio. He is fantastic. But seriously, FReepers need to stop with the Rush bashing. Just sayin’.
Of course Rush’s staff lurks here. But you people who don’t get why Rush MUST remain nuetral, well, frankly, I’m going to have to question your authenticity as a a FReeper. Viking Kitties standby...
I listen to Rush everyday and not once have I even suspected Rush Limbaugh as joining the GOP establishment (if that’s what the bashing’s all about).
Haven’t really paid attention to the Rush bashing as I know who Rush is and where he’s coming from by listening directly to the source (his radio program).
Unfortunately, some think it’s necessary that Rush and other talk show hosts endorse a candidate and if they do not, they just “have to be on the other side”.
